KILBURN METHODIST CHURCH

Jonathan Mead is a Methodist Minister currently based in Northwest London. He has served a majority West African congregation at Kilburn Methodist Church since 2014.

Sunday worship is at 11am with communion on the first Sunday of every month.

The church serves as a base for a broad range of community endeavours. For many years, it has hosted The Learning Tree, a wonderful nursery for local children between the ages of 1 and 5, and a Pilates and Yoga studio. We also support our local food bank with regular contributions.

The church is part of the London Mission North West Circuit, with neighbouring churches in Kensal Rise, Gospel Oak and Fernhead Road.

Kilburn is an incredibly diverse area, with people living here from all over the world and from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. It’s a wonderfully energetic and exciting place to live.

Kilburn Methodist Church was founded in 1868 by these two remarkable women. The church was rebuilt in 1962.

In 2018 the church celebrated its 150th anniversary with a weekend of celebrations, culminating in a service thanking God for faithful witness from the original founders to the present day.
